The event has been twinned with the Hull KR game against St Helens at Craven Park with the joint aim of raising funds and awareness for the Organisation, whilst at the same time ensuring local children have a fun day out. There will be a mixture of activities on the day including an photo opportunity appearance from Hull KR Mascot Rufus the Robin, the KR Cheerleaders, teamed with various live entertainment, face painting, bouncy castle, prize draw raffles and BBQ food. The day starts at 11.30am and will finish at around 4pm. Cobus Business Manager Vicky O’Grady adds “We thought it would be a great opportunity for Cobus to raise funds for our charity of the year and what better time to do it than when Hull KR are playing at home, so that we can make the most of the crowds attending the match and educate the local community about the benefits of Child Dynamix and The Hut mixed together with a fun day out.”
The event has been organised in partnership with Child Dynamix, The Cobus Communications Group and is supported by local companies: - Jenko Marketing and Design, Kingston Debt Solutions, The Freedom Centre, The Deep, Innes Photography, Cake That ‘N’ Party, PD Building Services, Nortech Tools and Equipment, P. Mawer Family Baker, A Draper & Son Ltd, Far Grange Park & Golf Club, Laser Quest and of course Hull Kingston Rovers Education and Sports Trust. Child Dynamix Director Jane Stafford added “We’re a local organisation and have been serving the communities of Hull for over 10 years now. Our aim is to see communities where children and young people thrive and this event brings together a funding opportunity, a fun event and the chance to reach out to young people who may not be aware of the fantastic services we have to offer the community.
Every year Cobus nominates a charity in which to support and Business Manager Vicky O’Grady comments “We believe in giving young people the best opportunity to be successful no matter what background they’re from and we are extremely pleased to be organising this event to help raise awareness for the support that Child Dynamix can provide.”
