Disk Imaging Backup Method
Modern disk imaging backup solutions have the ability to restore your server to any point within a 15 minute time frame and allows you, the customer to quite literally pick up where you left off.
If for example, your model of server is discontinued, it may not be possible to obtain identical replacement hardware. With differences in chipset and disk controllers, traditional file-level products cannot guarantee to restore onto different hardware. There are disk imaging products in the marketplace that allow you to restore your server’s fully working operating system to completely different hardware. The time taken to restore your server’s operating system and data is entirely dependent on the type of hardware involved and the amount of data restored. We’ve successfully restored a small server with a modest amount of data within 10 minutes.
