Cobus are delighted to announce our nominated charity for 2016 is PAUL – For Brain Recovery

Paul’s charity was picked after meeting many other local organisations and it was decided that his amazing charity was a great partnership and fit for us going forward into our 25th anniversary year.

In 2012 Paul suffered a brain haemorrhage and battled his brain recovery with tenacity and a positive attitude using sport, diet and research as a way to combat the challenges he faced. Setting up his charity to offer positivity, awareness, understanding and love to anyone affected by brain recovery PAUL – For Brain Recovery is now registered and has a base within the Wilberforce Health Centre in Hull. This will offer much needed community support for people affected by brain injury.

Paul’s passion for sport matches that of Cobus Managing Director Michael Smith’s and with fundraising events on the horizon such as a Hadrian’s wall trek, various runs and marathons our Cobus team have made a new years resolution to get fit so all can participate!!

Mike says “I feel there’s a real synergy between both our organisations and the positive outlook and get up and go mentality that Paul brings can only be an exciting step for us both as we enter 2016 with all the opportunities we have on offer.”

We’re looking forward to lending our support to PAUL – For Brain Recovery and if you want to know more about the charity visit the website here
