Tomorrow sees the biggest rugby league derby of the year when the newly formed Hull Warriors Masters take on the existing Hull Masters at the Marist Sporting Club, Cranbrook Avenue, kick off 1pm.

Both teams compete across the country playing in the Masters league, Justin Knaggs from Hull Warriors said “it’s a great way to keep fit and enjoy some competitiveness while having some friendly banter with your mates”, Scott Stephens from Hull Masters added ”after setting up the original Masters team in Hull it’s great to see another team getting on board, tomorrow promises to be a great spectacle of Rugby League and socialising”. Life for a Kid founder Dean Hoggard, who helps run the Warriors team, uses the platform to promote all-star games with ex-professionals that generates thousands of pounds for local charities. The Cobus Communications Group are extremely proud to be the 2018 main shirt sponsors for both teams as part of their commitment to the local community, charitable causes and amateur sport. The Cobus Foundation is supporting Hull4Heroes in 2018 and arranged for both shirts to have the logo included on the back. This much anticipated derby will be well supported with many players having played for both teams, so the friendly rivalry looks set to make it an exciting, unmissable game – we look forward to seeing you there!
