From start-ups and entrepreneurs to East Yorkshire’s biggest employers, the Mail Business Awards evening celebrated the region’s best companies and employers who are making a difference to the community, rewarding the unsung health heroes going the extra mile  to help us when we’re sick, injured or at our most vulnerable across East Yorkshire.

The prestigious event was held at The Deep and Michael Smith, Managing Director presented the award we were proud to sponsor for Mental Health and Wellbeing to DIGGDeep – a project run by Hull and East Yorkshire Mind.

Our congratulations must go to this fantastic project which is working with a group of 8 young people (aged 11-18) who are experiencing mental health issues to create a Minecraft video about cyber-bullying and how to stay safe and well online.

The aim of the project is twofold: to deliver improvements to the mental and emotional wellbeing and resilience of the small group of young people; to create a resource available to a wider group of young people to raise awareness of cyber bullying in the community and provide preventative techniques to stay safe and well online.
