From securing prestigious and innovative contracts to expanding our presence in new markets, each step has been pivotal in establishing the company as a trusted name. One of our proudest achievements in recent years is our dynamic expansion into cloud-based telecommunications solutions, positioning us at the forefront of industry innovation and a true leader in our chosen operational areas. Additionally, our declaration to becoming greener by working on new initiatives will see a year-on-year reduction in our carbon-footprint that has underscored our commitment to reducing climate change, while improving health, and sustainability.

Significant Internal Promotions & External Hires

Cobus believes in investing in people. Several key internal promotions have strengthened our leadership team, showcasing the value we place on nurturing talent from within. Notably, Emma Waudby, previously head of Sales & Marketing, was promoted to Operations Director, leading several strategic initiatives that have propelled our operational excellence.

Externally, we’ve made significant hires, bringing in top talent to reinforce our growth strategy. Georgina Bishop, who joined Cobus in a new role as Customer Experience Manager, bringing fresh insights to help us further develop our commitment to a positive culture, health and wellbeing, and Marc Hutchinson as the newly appointed Customer Service Manager, who brings a wealth of experience which will help Cobus to penetrate new markets.

Major Contracts Won

Cobus has secured some game-changing contracts that have contributed to our continued success. Most recently, we resigned a long-term contract with Beal Homes, a major player in the house building industry, to provide end-to-end telecommunications, business mobiles, and UCaaS solutions, across their multi-site operation. This achievement not only highlights our capability as a multi-service provider to business organisations of all sizes, and across all sectors, but also underscores the trust that leading brands place in our expertise and delivery.

Our success is built on continuous investment in technology and innovation. In recent years, Cobus has made substantial investments in state-of-the-art infrastructure, including upgrading our operational systems and platforms which has allowed us to expand our portfolio of product and service solutions. Our work with Airkool, an independent family business since 1982, not only provided them with a bespoke telecommunications solution but also resulted in notable increases in their operational efficiency. Additionally, our long-standing partnership with PureTec Fitness, an international leader in high quality home gym equipment, and OceanBlue, who provide haulage and freight across the UK and worldwide via air, road, and sea, has seen them grow and improve their customer experience alongside us, demonstrating the power of collaborative success. 

Community and Charity engagement 

The Cobus Foundation has continued to provide support to several local charitable organisations such as Hull4Heroes and HEY Powerchair Football Club, with sponsorship, donations, gifted services, business contacts and acumen. Team members support the local education sector as governors, mentors, and support workers, to ensure that we are helping to shape the workforce and industry leaders of tomorrow.

We have used Cobus as our Telecommunications provider for over 10 years now and would highly recommend them and their team. Recently Cobus helped us move across to VOIP and assisted every step of the way when rolling the new system including training and configuring of the phones to ensure it fitted with what we needed. Their support team are extremely responsive over email whenever we have technical issues, and these are always dealt with quickly and efficiently. Regular check-ins are also completed by our Customer Experience Manager to ensure all is running smoothly
